In late 2006, international educator and then Benchmarx bassist, Eric "Tick" Beck, started what is today known in Malaysia as "Rockin' for the Environment." He and the band performed in KL and on the east coast in an effort to raise awareness and money for the conservation of Malaysia's sea turtles. Proceeds went to SEATRU, now the Turtle Research and Rehabilitation Group. Info and pics of the event will be posted soon. |
